Corporate Christmas

Walking to work this morning I saw this Christmas tree infront of a local TV station. The Christmas tree makes the area look a little more festive. I got to thinking many people have taken a picture of this tree. I loved this Christmas tree yet I wanted to do something different, not just add a filter and upload it to Instagram. So I took a moment to walk around the tree to take it all in. I must admit I did feel a litte silly at first. I then saw the building in the background and like how the lines were all converging upwards. So angling myself and ignoring the people who were staring I took the photo.

…and yes added a filter and posted it to Instagram. 🙂

While setting up for a family shoot I took a test shot of this teen on the bench. I love how all the elements have come together here, the ball cap, skateboard and him just hanging around being natural. To be honest I was just shooting to check my light levels. I don’t think he was expecting that we had begun. So both of us are at ease here.

Serendipity strikes again.

Ferrari the Smiling Car

Walking along the streets of Montreal my son spotted this Ferrari and asked me to take a picture of it. I got low so that I could capture the car and it’s lines. When I look at this photo I am reminded of the Disney movie Cars, and now all I see is a smiling car. Not sure if Ferrari would agree with my view.

Cheers all.
